Legal and institutional protection of social care workers

Ensuring safety in the workplace is a fundamental duty of every employer towards the employee. However, social workers in the social work sector still face a lack of adequate protection. It should be noted that social workers play an extremely important, often underestimated role in society, helping people in difficult life situations. Their tasks include supporting homeless people, addicts, victims of violence and families in crisis. Due to the nature of their work and their exposure to various dangers, social workers need adequate legal and institutional protection. Discussing the above issues is the main objective of this article.
