The war in Ukraine strongly affected Ukrainian children who, forced to flee, came to Poland and in many cases took up education in educational institutions in our country. The organization of such education is very difficult for several reasons that are worth writing about here. Firstly, in a short period of time, a large number of children appeared in many schools, which required ad hoc organizational changes. Secondly, the children and their families did not come because of an ordinary decision, but were forced by a crisis situation. In the simplest terms, it was about the need to save one’s health and life. Therefore, the challenge is not only cultural and communication differences, but also the mental situation and emotions experienced by refugees.
