Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Note: in connection with the necessity of increasing the degree of internationalization of the education process in a given field of study, it is recommended that at least 1 article in the collective work be prepared in English.

 The work should include:

  • Volume (max.40,000 thousand characters)
  • Author's first and last name (upper right corner)
  • Unit name(affiliation)that the author represents and contact details (address, e-mail address )
  • ORCID number (obligatory)
  • Title of the work
  • - in Polish (14 pt TNR, bold, centered, unprinted font)
  • - in English (14 pt TNR, bold, centered, italics, unprinted font)
  • - abstract of the paper in Polish (Abstract - 11 points TNR)
  • - Key words in Polish - about 4-6 words (11 TNR points)
  • - an abstract of the paper in English (Abstract - 11 TNR points)
  • - keywords in English (Keywords - about 4-6 words (11 TNR points)

Titles (again in Polish and English), abstracts and keywords should be placed at the very end of the article, before the bibliography, in the order:

  • Abstrakt
  • - Title in Polish
  • - Contents abstracts
  • - Key words in Polish
  • Abstract

  • - Keywords in English
  • Work format B5(text justified)
  • Main text: font 11 pt TNR, spacing 1.5
  • Subchapter titles; font 12 pt TNR, bold, left alignment
  • Tables, graphs, drawings adapted to B5 format and described in detail
  • - tables (continuous numbering, e.g. Table 1, title 11 pt TNR, aligned to the left above the table, source 10 pt TNR, aligned to the left below the table)
  • - table content: 10 point TNR properly aligned in columns
  • - drawings (continuous numbering, e.g. Drawing 1, title 11 pt TNR, bold, aligned to the left under the figure, source 10 pt TNR, aligned to the left under the figure)
  • Footnotes in the text: (Blanchard, 2015)
  • APA style bibliography (7th edition) arranged alphabetically, continuous, without division into e.g. internet sources, etc. (for web pages, the date of access should be given, e.g. (accessed: 15.06.2020).

In the case of a book, the title is written in italics; in the case of an article, the title of the article is written in simple print and the title of the journal and its number in italics. Abbreviations for page numbers (e.g. "s.", "ss.", "p." or "pp." is used for articles in books (not journals). Page numbers are given in the bibliography.

  • We mark omissions in quotations: (…)
  • We indicate quotes in quotations by using double quotation marks: »…«
  • Numerals are written in words if they can be written in a single word, especially when they refer to persons
  • The Arabic numerals for ordinal numbers are followed by dots
  • In numbers of five digits and above, enter spaces, e.g. 25 800, 16 200 565
  • Periods 1995-2000 are joined by a pause without a space
  • Correct notation: the nineties or 1990s.
  • We prefer to write the initials of two names of the same author - e.g. J. J. Rousseau (with a space)
  • We write abbreviations in dependent cases consistently with either -a or a period, e.g. dra/dr. (doktora)
  • We use abbreviations: thous., mld, bn, if there are full thousands, e.g. (45 thousand)
  • For writing two-character surnames, we use a dash, e.g. Skłodowska-Curie
  • Foreign-language expressions in a large degree of Polish are written in plain text, e.g. par exemple, sensu stricte, others of this type are written in italics
  • Titles of works (books, etc.) cited are written in italics
  • Newspaper titles "plain text"
