Due to the continuous influx of people from Ukraine to Poland and the related admission of Ukrainian children to Polish schools and institutions, the Ministry of Education and Science is constantly collecting information on the actions that should be taken by parents, teachers and principals to provide adequate support to children coming from areas affected by war. The education and upbringing of children and youth from Ukraine is organized on the basis of the provisions of the Act of March 12, 2022 on assistance to Ukrainian citizens in connection with the armed conflict in the territory of this country, which regulates the specific rules for legalizing their stay and defines the rights that refugees are entitled to.
